Revenue Canada has disclosure rules with respect to companies hiring subcontractors. Since January 1, 1999, all companies in the general contracting business must provide the name, address, identification number (Business Number or Social Insurance Number) and amount paid to all subcontractors.

If your Company falls under the general contracting business, you must file this report with Revenue Canada.
